What is a workspace?

In this article, you’ll learn about one of Chromaport’s core features - workspaces.

Get started

To get started, download the desktop or mobile app and install the app.

Once you have logged in to the Chromaport app, you will be presented with the message: “Hello! It seems you don't have any workspace yet.”

This indicates that your account is active, but no workspace has been created yet. To continue, you need to create your first workspace. This is the main environment where all your apps, computers, and settings will be managed.

What is a workspace?

A workspace in Chromaport is your central hub for managing everything within the application. It acts as a structured environment where you can connect computers, access applications, and organize your digital resources in one place.

Instead of managing each device or app separately, a workspace allows you to bring everything together into a single, unified system. From there, you can easily launch applications, stream your desktop, and control access across different devices.

Workspaces are designed to be flexible and scalable, meaning they can adapt to both individual users and teams.

Use cases

Workspaces can be used in different scenarios depending on your needs:

  • Professional use: Teams can collaborate more efficiently by sharing access to applications, computers, and resources within a single workspace. This makes it easier to manage workflows, distribute tasks, and work together in real time.
  • Personal use: Individuals can use a workspace to organize their own devices and applications, allowing seamless access from multiple devices such as a laptop, desktop, or mobile phone.

Inviting members

You can also invite other users to your workspace. This can include teammates, friends, or collaborators. Once invited, they can join your workspace and participate in shared activities, depending on the permissions you assign.

This makes Chromaport not only a personal productivity tool but also a collaboration platform for distributed work.

Important note

A PRO subscription is assigned per workspace. This means that if you have a PRO plan in one workspace, it will not automatically apply to other workspaces you create.
Each workspace operates independently, allowing you to manage different projects or environments separately.

Create your workspace

To continue, create your first workspace and start organizing your apps, computers, and access settings in one place.
